Hopkins Academy/Biscuit Hill Farm IEA Team

Our IEA Team poses with coaches Beth Manning (on left) and Susan Duncan (on right) after winning the team varsity IEA Nationals on May 1st. Hopkins/Biscuit Hill won two of the final three Upper School team classes and we claimed our first-ever IEA National Championship!

Our IEA team is the brain child of Susan Duncan, a long time friend and colleague. Without her vision and hard work, the team would not be what it is today. It began as a small team from Hopkins Academy (Hadley Mass) that rode and trained at our farm. A few years later, we decided to turn the team into a sort of "hybrid " team and so the Hopkins/Biscuit Hill IEA team was born. Now roughly half the team is from Hopkins Academy and the remainder consists of riders from Biscuit Hill Farm. All of the team practices are held at Biscuit Hill, coached by Susan and Beth. We are always looking for riders to join the team. Regular practices are mandatory.
