Biscuit Hill Farm, Shelburne, Mass.

Biscuit Hill Farm LLC is a unique horse farm combining an impressive equestrian facility with the beauty and warmth of the hilltowns of rural western Massachusetts. The 28 acre farm is located in Shelburne, Massachusetts, just off the famous Mohawk Trail, a few miles from the historic town of Shelburne Falls. It boasts one of the largest privately owned indoor arenas in the area with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. We offer boarding, training, showing, horse sales and lessons on your horse or one of our 20 experienced school horses.

The farm opened in 2000 when John and Beth Manning determined that there was a need in the area for a high quality riding program where riders and horses could reach their full potential in an atmosphere where the emphasis would be on community and where the horses would have plenty of time to play outside. The result was Biscuit Hill Farm. We have a wonderful group of dedicated employees, loyal clients and a herd of competent, safe school horses. Many of our clients have been with us for over 20 years.

Biscuit Hill students are very successful at horse shows as well as events. Students compete regularly in all levels at hunter/jumper/equitation shows, events from Beginner Novice through Preliminary as well as Dressage shows. Riders can compete on their own horse or one of our horses. We are also home to the Amherst College Equestrian Team which competes regularly in IHSA shows in our area. We also have students that do not show. We welcome all riders regardless of ability and experience.
